A few weeks I played with this Bokeh technique. First I used watercolors on watercolor paper placing a couple of colors down. When it was dry I made a stencil using my circle punches on cardstock. Using a sponge dauber and Stampin' Up! Craft white ink pad, I rubbed white ink through the various circles overlapping in some places. Finally, I just used the sponge dauber to make circles. So the photos switched around when I posted. First up are the ink pad examples and the bottom two are the watercolor examples. The make great backgrounds. Give it a try. It really is very simple and fun to see the results you get.

Using a sponge dauber and Stampin' Up! Craft white ink pad, I rubbed white ink through the various circles overlapping in some places. Finally, I just used the sponge dauber to make circles.
